Do you have a passion for helping children grow in their faith and experience the love of Jesus in a fun, safe, and engaging environment? Somerset First United Methodist Church is seeking a Part-Time Children’s Ministry Leader to guide and nurture children (infant through 5th grade) in their spiritual development.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Plan and lead age-appropriate programming for children under 12 (e.g., Sunday School, children’s church, events)  
• Create a safe, welcoming, and joyful environment for children and families
• Build strong, caring relationships with children, parents, and volunteers   

• Ensure all activities follow Safe Sanctuaries policies and practices

Qualifications: 

• A heart for children’s ministry and a vibrant Christian faith  

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lead with energy, creativity, and compassion

• Experience working with children in a ministry or educational setting preferred
